As we enter the month of March, with it's changeable weather here in the Northeast, we usually look forward with anticipation to spring. Staring out at the snow falling today, we realize that there's no need to race through the month; March is a great month to get those quilting projects done. Being cooped up on these wintry days makes it so much easier to settle in to our studio and quilt, quilt, quilt! There's always a silver lining! February was indeed a busy month. Mary Ann's trip to Des Moines to APQS headquarters proved to be very informative and she came back with tons of tips and techniques to expand our quilting possibilities. Not only did Mary Ann attend this seminar, but her husband Larry went as well to learn the APQS machine maintenance, and is now our in-house expert on maintenance and repairs. We enjoyed a wonderful quilting retreat on Cape Cod over Valentine's weekend, full of quilting, fabric shopping, food and fun! Two days of quilting without interruption in a beautiful Cape Cod setting? Doesn't get any better! |

LONG ARM RENTAL PROGRAM: Our Longarm Machine Rental Program continues to be a hit. This program, only one of a handful in the Northeast, allows you to rent time on our APQS Millenium Longarm machine, in our studio to Quilt-It-Yourself!! We've had an enthusiastic response to our Open House Thursdays and enjoyed demonstrating the longarm to everyone who came by. CHARITY RAFFLE QUILT The Boston Marathon is coming up on April 19th and our own Alicia Zonenshine is running as part of the Brigham's Team. They are raising money to benefit inner city families who need assistance paying for medical expenses. We donated a quilt to help. Below is the finished quilt that will be raffled off on March 20th at a fundraising event in Boston.
