We now have 2 quilting machines in-house!! APQS has had some delays in delivering our new Lucey quilting machine, but were nice enough to send us a loaner to use in the mean-time. Needless to say, we are very excited with our new arrival!
This week we held our first classes teaching freehand quilting-Basic Longarming Techniques. We plan to offer this class again in the spring, but would also like to offer more classes using the longarm machine and need your input: What techniques would you like to learn using the longarm? The more quilting skills you master, the more options you have to finish your quilts and have fun doing it! Let us know what you think!

Thanks for the great feedback Sue! We really enjoyed having you in the class; you're very talented and well on your way to some beautiful quilting. Can't wait to see what you do next!by Dora on 15 February 2011 at 3:39 p.m.

I was in the first class, it was great. Mary Ann and Dora are excellent teachers and work so well together. The perfect tag team. We got to practice quite a few free motion designs, easy-going, no stress, and even brought our work home, too big to hang on the fridge but is perfect in my sewing room to remember and refer to at home! Can't wait for another class! Susan K in Taunton MAby Susan K. on 14 February 2011 at 6:45 p.m.
