This is a closeup of the star section. It gives the quilt a focal point and a little "punch" of color. |
| I am a member of the Silver City Quilt Guild in Taunton, MA, and had entered this quilt and 2 others in their bi-annual quilt show, held 9/19-9/20/09, this past weekend. The show was very well done, and a great success. The guild also had a judged division in the show, so I went for it and put all three quilts in for judging. Well, this quilt, titled "Winter Storm" won 1st Place in the Large Bed Quilts category! I am thrilled, surprised and very proud! |  |
